Full campaign management: strategy, content production and delivery
Written as a response to the 50th anniversary celebration of the King’s Head Theatre, Mark Ravenhill premiered his first new play as Artistic Director.
Drawing on the traditions of a classic ghost story, The Haunting of Susan A was inspired by Ravenhill’s love of the work of M.R. James and was set in the King’s Head Theatre Pub itself to commemorate the building’s history before moving location to a new purpose built venue.
As the Marketing Manager I championed a content and PR driven campaign across digital and print media, identifying and targeting diverse audience personas and demographics.
The campaign saw me develop title artwork for digital, posters and flyers for print distribution, rehearsal footage, cast led content, venue based secondary campaigns, production photography, review responsive content and video trailers across production. I ran local advertising, engaged in grassroots outreach, and utilised paid social advertising and PR for city-wide reach. Across the campaign we tracked click through rate data to continually analyse and optimise remaining budget, and employed ticketing and discount strategies to front-load pre-run ticket sales.
